French Tourists Fell Into a River After a Bridge Snapped

Four travelers are lucky to be alive after a bridge in New Zealand collapsed and sent them 8 metres into the river below last month.

Adrien Whistle share the video on YouTube and shows one of the four hikers record on videotape their trek towards the Hopu Ruahine bridge in Hawkes Bay.

Nobody suffered and wasn’t seriously injured.

Hopuruahine Suspension Bridge collapsed

The bridge, which was projected to bear not more than 10 people, collapsed and all four travelers trapped into the water.

The last checking of suitability for the bridge was in September 2014, as noted New Zealand Department of Conservation.

For the time being the Hopuruahine Suspension bridge is still locked.
